Amanda Yanez, BA, Youth and Family Mentor

Amanda joined our agency in 2009 as a Youth and Family Mentor to provide case management and mentoring supports to youth in crisis. Amanda’s professional experiences include conducting investigations regarding child abuse, neglect, and fatalities as a case manager for the Indiana Department of Child Services. She has also been responsible for supporting youth detained in the Indianapolis Juvenile Correctional Facility. Amanda was also a police officer for several years and is committed to juvenile law enforcement. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Indiana University and has participated in Systems of Care training with our organization.
